After the death of my much loved pitbul 'Bruce' I went in search of another dog to share my home with. I researched the breed before i actually visited any of the breeders and during my search, found myself on the door of Gary and Sandy Schneider. As well as being reputable breeders they were both very welcoming. This was where I bought my first pet amstaff that I fell in love with, a sweet natured brindle and white boy. His name is Oscar. Oscar is co-owned with Peter.
Several months later I met Jo and Jeff from Khaotic Kennels which developed into a strong friendship due to a common interest in the amstaffs. It was after much convincing, encouragement, ( and a few tricks!), from these 2 that Oscar and myself ended up in the show ring! Thanks guys... I think!
By the time Oscar was about 1 year old I had been bitten by the bug and went about looking for a friend for Oscar because as you know, 1 amstaff is never enough! This was how I came to purchase my second american staffordshire terrier and her name is Cookie. A beautiful blue and white female. Oscar and Cookie became fast friends and totally inseparable within a matter of weeks.
It is now 3 years later, early 2005, I have just had my first litter and purchased two other pups. The first is a female that I have named Lolly, a beautiful black and white girl that is the foundation bitch for the future of Aramey Kennels. The second is a stunning male, also black and white, that stole my heart on sight and quickly became a 'must have'! I have named him Jet. I am hoping for great results in the show ring with these two so drop back for an update on their achievements.
